Don Murdoch was a member in the 90s and 00s and he LOVED our social spirit - hence the Don Murdoch handicap doubles tournament was established.  With our inaugural tournament played in 2001 we have had 20+ years of refinement and reinvention.  

Nowadays our Don Murdoch Tournament consists of randomly picked mixed doubles pairs playing multiple rounds of hopefully competitive and fun tennis and accumulating games scores.  The top 2 ladies and gents play off in a final to decide the winner of the illustrious trophy.

This year our reigning champion (Ian J) was injured so it allowed some new to get their name on the trophy!!

A wonderful time was had by all at the annual Don Murdoch mixed doubles tournament held recently on a lovely Sunday afternoon.
