Playing at Ōrākei
Become a member and enjoy access to all club facilities, interclub competition, junior and midweek tennis, coaching, OTC tournaments and a variety of social events on and off court throughout the year.
We have a great range of players at all levels and ages.
Members can bring family, friends, and non-members along to play with them for $10 per player. Please deposit visitor fees into the club account 12-3011-0762741-00 with the reference Visitor Fees.
Members enjoy: 7 Floodlit Courts of which 2 are hardcourt; the Best Views in Auckland; a friendly social atmosphere; great clubrooms & bar facilities.
Senior Interclub
While we may not host the top level interclub grades we are extremely proud of the teams we enter each season. Ōrākei is considered fair, competitive and enthusiastic - we host a bar upstairs and boast some of the best foodies around the Bays - and beware we are so welcoming many previous competitors have switched sides and have joined our ranks!
Senior interclub consists of home & away matches every second Saturday from midday (approx Sept - early Dec & Feb - April)
Mens and Ladies Open - 4 individual players with one singles and one doubles each
Mixed Doubles Open - 2 ladies and 2 men with one doubles and one mixed doubles each (aged 30 years plus)
Super Mens and Ladies Open - 4 individual players where you play a doubles match to 8 games with each of your other team members.
We traditionally enter multiple Mens and Womens Open Singles teams, multiple Super teams, along with Mixed Doubles, yet we are always looking for new talent to join us!

We enter several junior interclub teams each year in term 1 and 4.
Midweek tennis
Midweek members are entitled to use the courts Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. All midweek members are invited to our Club's social and fun tournaments and events which may take place during weekends or weekday evenings.
Ōrākei Midweek Tennis has never been so popular as it is right now! It is exciting, friendly and enjoyable tennis.
We provide novice sessions, back to tennis sessions, play days, fun tournaments, Club Champs during Term 1 and indoor/outdoor interclub teams. We have at least one fun event each term.
All visitors can have a free visits at our Thursday morning social play, we also have a 5 Visit Card which you can purchase 5 visits before officially joining the Club.
Organised tennis at Orakei is scheduled on Thursday from 9:15am to noon. We have a strong presence in midweek interclub with teams playing summer and winter across several different grades and days.
