2010 Club Championship

This very important event is upon us again. Every year this has proved to be competitive but also with lots of fun. This year will be no exception.

Last year we had a number of new champions. Will we have new Club Champions this year again?

There will be 5 tournaments: Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles; Women’s Doubles; Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles

The format will be the same as previous years. All matches will be played to best of 3.

All players will be placed in one draw for the first round. winners of the first round will go into the Championship round, and losers of the first round will go into the Plate round. Hence you will play at least 2 matches in your section.

Draws will be posted on the website, at the Clubhouse, and will also be emailed to all participants.

The Club Champs are open to ALL members: Seniors, Midweek, and Juniors. Entry form is available at club house, on the website, or you can email Michelle Tsui (mgstsui@hotmail.com) with details of the section(s) you are entering and your partner’s name (where appropriate).

Eligibility - All club members, Senior, Midweek and Junior

1st draw - To be published on 8th February 2010

2nd draw - To be published on 28th February 2010

Semi-finals - Sun, 21st March 2010

Finals - Sun 28th March 2010

Costs:

Singles $10

Doubles $7.50 per person
